Syriac Orthodox Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II receives Catholicos-Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East Mar Awa III Royel

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region of Iraq — A brotherly meeting brought together Syriac Orthodox Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received Catholicos-Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East Mar Awa III Royel at the headquarters of archdiocese of Mosul, Kerkheslokh (Kirkuk) and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in Erbil.

The meeting was also attended by Chaldean Archbishop of Erbil Mar Bashar Matti Warda and Syriac Catholic Coadjutor Archbishop Nathanael Nizar Semaan.

Patriarch Aphrem II thanked Patriarch Awa III for the opportunity of spiritual meeting that brought them together with the rest of the archbishops.
