7 expatriate Syriacs injured in accident in Tur Abdin, Turkey
TUR ABDIN, Turkey — A vehicle, that carried Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean-Assyrian) people coming from Germany and Sweden to visit Tur Abdin in Turkey, was subjected to an accident near the Anhil village, after the driver lost control.
The Turkish media outlets that reported the incident did not mention the names of those who were on the vehicle, except for Fehima, Simon and Denho who came from Germany, as well as Joseph, Yildiz, Naila and Shabo who came from Sweden.
Rapid Rescue Units rushed to the accident location and transported the injured to the Medyad (Midyat) hospital for treatment.
Sources reported that the condition of the injured is stable, and the police began investigations to find out the circumstances of the accident.
