15 deacons ordained in Chaldean church Fance, Paris
ARNOUVILLE, France — The evangelical deacon, Jeremiah Zirin and 14 apostolic deacons were ordained in the Church of St. John the Apostle in Arnouville on the outskirts of Paris, France.
The Divine Liturgy was presided over by Chaldean Archbishop of Omid (Diyarbakir) of Turkey Mor Sabri Anar, assisted by fathers Sakfan Matti and Nersay Sulay.
The ceremony was attended by archbishops, priests, Mayor of Arnouville and former MP Francois Peponi, deacons’ families and a large gathering of believers.
In his sermon, archbishop Anar spoke about the deacons’ service in the church, and he congratulated the newly ordained deacons.
