Syriac Orthodox Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphram II inaugurates Dar Sharqi Guesthouse in Daramsuq (Damascus)
DARAMSUQ — Syriac Orthodox Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphram II inaugurated Dar Sharqi Guest House in Bab Sharqi, Daramsuq (Damascus), Syria.
After the ribbon cutting, a report on the guesthouse services was presented.
The patriarch thanked everyone who contributed to the success of this project.
The patriarch also presented 2 shields to Maher Gawrieh and Hanna khazoum, in appreciation of their services and efforts.
The inauguration was attended by Mor Theophilos George Saliba, Patriarchal Advisor, Mor Timotheos Matta al-Khoury, Archbishop of Hmoth (Homs), Hemto (Hama), Tartous and Environs, Mor Maurice Amsih, Archbishop of Gozarto (Jazira) and Euphrates, Mor Boutros Kassis, Archbishop of Holeb (Aleppo) and Environs, Mor Yacoub Babawi, Patriarchal Vicar for Monks Affairs and the Administration of Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary in Maarat Saydnaya, Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, Mor Christophoros Markose, Patriarchal Secretary for the Affairs of the Church in India and Mor Augeen al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary.
