Syriac Union Party delegation meets with Democratic Union Party and Hasakah Fuel Directorate to discuss regional developments and public services

HASAKAH, North and East Syria — A delegation from the Hasakah branch of the Syriac Union Party (SUP) recently conducted a series of visits to engage with local leaders and institutions. The delegation, which included members of the party’s Executive Committee, Maha Shabo and Fadi Dawi, Co-Chair of the Hasakah branch Armin Mardo, and Khatun Issa from the Organization Office, visited the Democratic Union Party (PYD) office in Hasakah.

The delegation was warmly received by PYD officials Abdel Hakim Daher and Hussein Berri. During the meeting, both parties exchanged congratulations on the conclusion of the PYD’s General Conference and discussed key developments on the international and local political scene. The conversation also focused on enhancing the role of political parties in the region.

In addition to their visit to the PYD, the Syriac Union Party delegation met with Susan Abdullah Muhammad, Co-Chair of the Hasakah Fuel Directorate. The discussions centered around the directorate’s work, challenges it faces, and the mechanisms for distributing heating diesel cards to local residents, in light of ongoing public service needs.
