Coordination and Consultation Committee of Syriac-Assyrian National Parties and Democratic Peace Party meet in Zalin, North and East Syria, to strengthen ties, discuss regional developments
BETH ZALIN, North and East Syria — The Coordination and Consultation Committee of Syriac-Assyrian National Parties hosted a delegation from the Democratic Peace Party (DPP) at the headquarters of the Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Beth Zalin (Qamishli), North and East Syria, to strengthen relations and discuss current events.
The visiting delegation was led by Party Head Talal Mohammed and included members of the Party’s Political Bureau Avin Gafor, Muslim Abbas, Mohammed Amin, as well as and Youth Official Mohammed Ibrahim.
The delegation was warmly received by SUP Co-Chairs Sanharib Barsom and Shamiram Danho, along with Afram Ishak from the SUP Executive Body, Wael Mirza of the Assyrian Democratic Party (ADP), and Gabriel Moshe and Quryaqus Gabriel from the Assyrian Democratic Organization (ADO).
The discussions focused on the evolving situation in the Middle East, with a particular emphasis on the ongoing conflict in Lebanon. Both parties urged the international community to take action to stop the war, which continues to claim innocent lives.
During the visit, both parties highlighted the strength of their bilateral relations, touching on issues of mutual interest, regional developments, and significant events occurring locally and globally.
The visiting delegation expressed gratitude for the warm reception, and both sides emphasized the importance of ongoing meetings and continuous communication to further consolidate their cooperation.
