President of Syriac-Maronite Union of Tur Levnon Dr. Amine Iskandar criticizes Hezbollah’s influence over Lebanon, warns Christian community to remain vigilant
BEIRUT — Dr. Amine Iskander, President of the Syriac-Maronite Union of Tur Levnon, criticized Hezbollah’s influence in Lebanon in a statement on social media platform X. He accused Hezbollah of targeting Christians in Lebanon and seeking control over Mount Lebanon, despite the destruction of some of its weaponry by the Israeli Army, which Hezbollah denies.
Iskander urged the Christian community to remain vigilant against Hezbollah’s agenda, highlighting the demographic and cultural impact he claims Hezbollah has had on Christians in Lebanon. “Christians have been systematically marginalized and deprived of ownership, forced under Hezbollah’s cultural domination,” he asserted.

Amine Bar-Julius Iskandar (@Amineiskandar2) November 3, 2024
