Christian Front in Lebanon calls on Hezbollah to hand over its weapons to Lebanese Army

BEIRUT — The Christian Front in Lebanon demanded that the remaining political and military leaders of the pro-Iranian Hezbollah in Lebanon hand over their remaining missile and weapons stores to the Lebanese Army, instead of leaving them to the Israeli Army.

The Front also called on the political and military leaders and groups affiliated with the Hezbollah to stop their lies and continuous deception of Shiite community, after causing the destruction of the Shiite community homes and property and displacing them to Syria, Iraq and several Lebanese regions.

The Front appealed to the entire Lebanese people to adhere to Hezbollah dissolution with its military and political wings, demanding that Hezbollah members be brought to trial on charges of high treason, as well as preventing them from practicing any official political or administrative activity.

The Front announced that it is in constant contact with many U.S. figures of Lebanese origin, who work within the team of U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, pointing out that the Front is struggling with this team to reach the implementation of international resolutions on Lebanon, the most important of which is Resolution No. 1559.

The Christian Front declared that it is to prepare a Lebanese opposition conference in a European country Parliament that is active in the Lebanese dossier to emphasize the liberation of Lebanon from Iranian domination, as well as to support the right of Lebanse free people to enjoy security and peace, like all civilized countries.
