Legendary singer Fairouz, voice of unity and inspiration across generations, turns 90

Often regarded as a symbol of national unity in Lebanon, Fairouz’s enduring voice continues to inspire millions across Beth Nahrin (Mesopotamia) and beyond.

Renowned for singing about humanitarian causes and national unity, Fairouz’s music resonates strongly in Lebanon and Syria. Despite her retreat from the public eye in recent years, her songs remain a morning tradition in countless households, cherished as timeless anthems of hope and nostalgia.
