Christian Education Institute reopens in Mosul to promote religious knowledge
MOSUL, Iraq — The Mor Bulos House for Church Services celebrated the reopening of the Christian Education Institute of the Syriac Catholic Archdiocese of Mosul, marking the start of its first academic year. The event was attended by Syriac Catholic Archbishop Mar Younan Hinno.
The ceremony included prayers, hymns, and a reading from the Holy Gospel.
Father Ignatius Ofe delivered a speech, emphasizing that the institute’s revival was in response to the congregation’s calls, recognizing the critical role of Christian education in their lives.
Archbishop Hinno expressed gratitude for the reopening, stating, “The Institute’s revival allows us to deepen our religious knowledge, which serves as the foundation of our lives.”
