Syriac Military Council calls on Syriac–Assyrian people to join its rank and defend their homeland

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — In the wake of Syria’s evolving political landscape and the fall of the authoritarian Assad regime, the General Command of the Syriac Military Council (Mawtbo Fulhoyo Suryoyo, MFS) issued a call to action for the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people to defend their homeland.

The MFS urged Syriacs (Arameans–Assyrians–Chaldeans) across the country to join its ranks, pledging support for those committed to serving their people during this critical period. The Council reaffirmed its mission to represent the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) community and contribute to building a new Syria that embraces all its ethnic and indigenous components.

The MFS highlighted the sacrifices of its fighters, many of whom became martyrs in the fight for a united and just Syria. The statement emphasized that its forces would continue to stand resolute on the front lines, protecting their community amid ongoing challenges.

Promising to uphold the legacy of their martyrs, the MFS vowed to persist in their mission until achieving both victory and justice for their people.
