Religious Education Center in Zalin (Qamishli), North and East Syria, organizes Christmas events
ZALIN, North and East Syria — In a statement to Syriac Press, Therese Yohanon, head of the Religious Education Center in Zalin (Qamishli), North and East Syria, announced a series of religious and spiritual activities organized to celebrate Christmas and promote spiritual values.
Yohanon explained that the Center actively participated in Christmas Masses in collaboration with priests and youth from churches in Zalin. These events aimed to strengthen connections to Christian teachings and provide spiritual guidance to young people.
As part of the celebrations, the Center also hosted a Christmas concert featuring religious hymns and songs, creating a joyous atmosphere of faith and community. Yohanon emphasized that the Center’s work is inspired by the teachings of the Bible, particularly the message of Jesus Christ to face challenges with faith, hope, and optimism.
She concluded by extending holiday greetings on behalf of the Religious Education Center, wishing peace and love to all during this festive season.
