Syriac Cross Family Center hosts Christmas event for children in Zalin (Qamishli), North and East Syria

ZALIN, North and East Syria — In celebration of Christmas, the Family Center of the Syriac Cross Organization for Relief and Development held a festive event for children enrolled in the Center’s courses.

Speaking to our news desk, official of the Family Center Christabel Assal shared that the event featured a mix of entertainment and educational competitions for the children. Folklore dance performances, inspired by the occasion, added to the festive atmosphere.

The highlight of the celebration was the distribution of gifts, which brought joy and happiness to the children. Assal extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people and Christians worldwide, wishing them a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with peace and prosperity.
