Syriac Women’s Center in Turkey (SÜRKADİM) distributes gifts to children in Antakya

TUR ABDIN, Turkey — Every year holidays, the Syriac Women’s Center in Turkey (Süryani Kadın Derneği Üyesi, SÜRKADİM) organize events for Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean-Assyrian) people in Tur Abdin and other southern regions of Turkey.

They also held events in Medyad (Midyat) and villages of Tur Abdin with the generous support of Syriac people in the region.

This Christmas, the Syriac Women’s Center in Turkey (Süryani Kadın Derneği Üyesi, SÜRKADİM) held an event for children.

The SÜRKADİM delegation conducted a visit to the children of the Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean-Assyrian) people in Antakya, Samandağ.

Then, Santa Claus distributed gifts to 200 children who were affected by the 2023 earthquake.

The SÜRKADİM delegation also offered congratulations to everyone who participated in the event and made an effort to bring joy to the hearts of the earthquake victims.
