Syriac Women’s Union brings holiday cheer to Hasakah with festive celebration
HASAKAH, North and East Syria — In celebration of Christmas and the New Year, the Syriac Women’s Union (SWU), in collaboration with the Syriac Cross Organization for Relief and Development, organized a festive event at the Ishtar First and Second Kindergarten in Hasakah, North and East Syria.
The celebration was attended by kindergarten staff, representatives of the institutions of the Bethnahrin National Council (Mawtbo Umthoyo D’Bethnahrin, MUB), and parents, creating a warm and joyous atmosphere.
The event featured singing performances and engaging games for the children, culminating in a visit from Santa Claus, who distributed sweets and gifts. The initiative aimed to bring joy to the children during the holiday season and foster a spirit of love, cooperation, and community.
