He highlighted the commitment of both parties to this unified vision and their efforts to garner broader support among the Syriac–Assyrian population, political organizations, institutions, and churches.
The joint initiative, Barsom noted, is part of a larger endeavor to unify the goals of the Syriac–Assyrian people during this critical juncture in Syria’s history. He called for collective action, urging individuals and organizations to actively contribute to achieving these essential objectives that will shape the community’s future.
Barsom concluded by emphasizing the aspiration to create a democratic Syria where all communities enjoy equal rights, with the Syriac–Assyrian people playing a significant role in the nation’s reconstruction.
