Delegation of Bethnahrin National Council institutions honors Martyr Gabro Danho

QABRE HEWORE, Syria — In a solemn tribute to honor the sacrifices of martyrs, a joint delegation from the institutions of the Bethahrin National Council (Mawtbo Umthoyo D’Bethnahrin, MUB) visited the family of Martyr Gabro Danho Danho. The visit was part of the MUB ongoing efforts to recognize the contributions of those who gave their lives for their homeland and people.

High-Profile Delegation Pays Tribute

The delegation included prominent members, including Co-Chair of the Syriac-Assyrian Martyrs’ Families Foundation Armin Mardo,  along with the two members Samuel Antar and Salam Nicola. In addition to representatives from the Syriac Military Council (Mawtbo Fulḥoyo Suryoyo, MFS) Relations Office, George Musa and Carlos Shamoun, as well as Co-Chairs of the Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Qabre Hewore (Qahtaniyah) Adib Shabo and Faya Ardish.

The delegation was warmly received by the martyr’s sister and SUP Co-Chair Shamiram Danho, as well as the martyr’s brother Habib Danho. The delegation reflected on the martyr’s remarkable contributions to the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Region of North and East Syria (DAARNES), where he held key positions, including Co-Chair of the Energy Board and the Economy Authority.

Presentation of Certificate of Honor

As part of the tribute, the delegation presented the martyr’s family with a Certificate of Honor. The MUB delegation vowed to uphold the principles and values for which the martyrs sacrificed their lives, committing to continue their struggle for the Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean-Assyrian) people.

The Danho family expressed heartfelt thanks to the MUB delegation for their visit and dedication to preserving the legacy of the martyrs. They conveyed their hopes for the MUB continued success in achieving the national and religious aspirations of the Syriac people in Syria, which is navigating through challenging times.

This gesture underscores the enduring respect for those who have fallen and highlights the MUB commitment to building a brighter future for the Syriac people.
