Beth Nahrain Organization for Women in Iraq visits Bet-Nahrain Democratic Party

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region of Iraq — In order to strengthen ties between the national parties of the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian people in Iraq, a delegation from the Beth Nahrain Organization for Women (BNOW) in Iraq visited the headquarters of the Bet-Nahrain Democratic Party (BNDP) in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI).

Hanan Matti Tuma headed the BNOW delegation, which also included Women’s Organizational Head Ronak Elias Hanna, and BNOW members Iqbal Elias Altun and Maryam Imad Elias.



The BNOW delegation was received by Secretary General of the Bet-Nahrain Democratic Party Romeo Hakkari, Erbil Branch Official Balsam George and Nineveh Plains Organizational Official Salma Salem.

The two sides touched upon the current situation in Iraq and the world, its effects on the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian, as well as the importance of uniting the word and demands to keep pace with current events.

The two sides also discussed joint activities, strengthening relations between the two parties that serve both sides, as well as attention to the women intellectual and economic empowerment as Iraqi women and Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian women.
