Syriac Cross distributes aid to displaced families in North and East Syria
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — The Syriac Cross Organization for Relief and Development delivered a new batch of humanitarian aid to displaced families as part of its ongoing efforts to address their needs.
Relief baskets were distributed to displaced individuals residing in shelter centers across Hasakah, Amuda, Darbasiyah, and Kobane. This initiative is part of the Syriac Cross Emergency Response Plan, which seeks to provide essential support to those affected by ongoing conflicts in the region.
The aid distribution comes in response to the increasing needs of those displaced by conflicts that have forced thousands to flee from neighborhoods in Holeb (Aleppo) and its countryside, as well as Mabbug (Manbij), to the regions of North and East Syria.
The recent displacement wave coincided with Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) gaining control over parts of Syrian territory, prompting many families to seek refuge in safer areas.
Syriac Cross continues its commitment to alleviating the hardships faced by displaced communities in the region, offering critical support amid ongoing challenges.
