Trump issues executive order to address “anti-Christian bias” in federal government

WASHINGTON, D.C. — US President Donald Trump signed an executive order aimed to investigate “anti-Christian bias” within the federal government and combat acts of violence and vandalism targeting Christian communities.

The order includes the creation of an Office of Faith within the White House, tasked with integrating religious values into government policies. Trump emphasized the importance of protecting religious freedoms and ensuring that Christian voices are represented in federal decision-making.

As part of the initiative, Trump appointed Pam Bondi as the new Prosecutor General to lead a specialized task force focused on ending the persecution of Christians in federal agencies, including the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Trump highlighted that Bondi’s primary responsibility will be to eliminate any forms of targeting, discrimination, or unjust treatment of Christians within these agencies.

In a public statement, Trump declared that the United States must reaffirm its commitment to religious values and actively counter threats to Christianity within its society. “Protecting the rights and freedoms of Christians is a moral imperative for our nation,” he said.
