Delegation from North and East Syria Culture Authority visits Syriac Cultural Association in Hasakah
HASAKAH, North and East Syria — To strengthen collaboration, a delegation from the Culture Authority of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Region of North and East Syria (DAARNES) visited the Abdul Masih Qarbashi House for Culture and Art, managed by the Syriac Cultural Association in Hasakah.
The delegation was led by Culture Authority Co-Chairs Morhaf al-Fahd and Sarfaz Sharif.
Discussions during the visit centered on issues affecting the diverse communities of North and East Syria, with a particular focus on the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people. Both sides explored ways to address cultural and social concerns while highlighting the importance of preserving the rich heritage of the region.
A key topic of discussion was the ongoing preparation for a music video project that aims to represent all societal groups and ethnic components of the Syrian people. This initiative underscores the commitment to cultural unity and the celebration of diversity in the region.
The visit marked a significant step toward fostering cooperation between the Culture Authority and the Syriac Cultural Association, emphasizing the shared goal of promoting cultural inclusivity and preserving the heritage of all communities in North and East Syria.
