Syriac Union Party holds popular dialogue seminar in Qattinah, Hmoth (Homs)
QATTINAH/HMOTH (HOMS), Syria – The Syriac Union Party (SUP), held a popular dialogue seminar in the town of Qattinah in rural Hmoth (Homs), central Syria, with a group of local residents and civil society activists.
During the seminar, the party provided a concise overview of its activities, efforts, and struggle to uphold the rights of the Syriacs and Christians in the region. The discussion also covered the party’s struggles and achievements since its founding up to the present stage, along with the objectives it aims to achieve.
The seminar addressed recent developments on the Syrian scene, including political, economic, social, and security-related issues.
Participants shared their opinions, proposals, and perspectives on the current situation in the region, the needs of the local population at this stage, and potential courses of action—both in the short term and from a long-term strategic perspective.

It also highlighted the necessity of ensuring that all Syrian communities and components have the ability and space to organize themselves, manage their affairs, and protect their interests through a decentralized governance model.
