Syriac Cross continues agricultural support program in North and East Syria
NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — The Syriac Cross Organization for Relief and Development continues its efforts to support vegetable cultivation through its plastic tunnel farming program, conducting regular field follow-ups with farmers across several agricultural regions in North and East Syria.
These follow-ups are part of the organization’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the project’s success. Agricultural specialists conduct periodic site visits to inspect crops, address farmers’ concerns, and offer technical guidance at every stage of the cultivation process.
In earlier phases of the initiative, Syriac Cross distributed several batches of agricultural inputs, including seeds and essential materials for constructing and operating the plastic tunnels.
The program is designed to promote sustainable agricultural production, improve the livelihoods of participating farmers, and enhance overall food security in the region. It also supports the organization’s broader mission to strengthen local self-sufficiency and foster long-term agricultural development in targeted communities.
