Syriac Union Party in Lebanon President Ibrahim Mrad endorses lawyer Auguste Bakhos, mayoral candidate for Jdeideh-Bouchrieh municipality

METN / TUR LEVNON, Lebanon — Following the endorsement by the Universal Syriac Union Party (USUP) in Lebanon for mayoral candidate for the Jdeideh-Bouchrieh municipality, lawyer Auguste Bakhos, USUP President Ibrahim Mrad welcomed Bakhos yesterday at the USUP headquarters. Bakhos was accompanied by Dr. Charles al-Hajj. From USUP side, USUP Vice-President Leila Latte, Secretary-General Michel Mallo and Internal Affairs official Joseph Hajjar were also in attendance.   

Bakhos thanked Mrad and the USUP members for their support for him and his entire electoral list. Bakhos welcomed their support and alliance, expressing confidence that it would lead to progress and fulfillment of the region’s needs. 

Mrad expressed thanks for Bakhos’ visit, emphasizing that the support of the USUP and its allies, the Lebanese Forces and Kataeb parties, came after extensive consultations and a review of his vision and developmental project for the area. Mrad wished success for Bakhos and all members of the electoral list, which also includes candidates from the USUP.
