Beth Nahrain Patriotic Union celebrates 29th anniversary with broad participation

ANKAWA, Kurdistan Region of Iraq / BARTELLA, Iraq — In a festive atmosphere marked by both public and official participation, the Beth Nahrain Patriotic Union (Huyodo d’Bethnahrin Athroyo, HBA) celebrated its 29th founding anniversary over two days, Tuesday and Wednesday, at its headquarters in Ankawa and Bartella.

President of the HBA Joseph Sliwa, along with members of the political and executive bureaus, received congratulatory delegations throughout the two-day event. Attendees included representatives from national and community-based political parties and institutions, heads of administrative and security departments, and members of the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian community.


 

 


During the visits, political discussions were held and the party’s vision for the future was presented.

Among the delegations were representatives from the Bethnahrin Democratic Party, the Assyrian Democratic Movement (Zowaa), the Iraqi Communist Party, and others.

Visiting delegations commended the HBA’s continued commitment to the national cause and its steadfast role in advocating for the rights of the Chaldean–Syriac–Assyrian people.
