Bet-Nahrain Democratic Party and Assyrian Democratic Movement congratulate Bethnahrin National Council on Silver Jubilee

ANKAWA, Kurdistan Region of Iraq — On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Bethnahrin National Council (Mawtbo Umthoyo d’Bethnahrin, MUB), both the Bet-Nahrain Democratic Party (BNDP) and the Assyrian Democratic Movement (Zowaa) issued congratulatory statements, praising the MUB’s continued efforts to uphold the rights and identity of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people at home and abroad.

The BNDP’s Secretary-General and Political Bureau extended their warmest wishes and heartfelt congratulations, expressing their hope for continued progress and success in the MUB’s mission to achieve the legitimate rights and aspirations of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people.

Zowaa also released a statement to the public, marking the silver jubilee and offering its congratulations to the MUB.

The statement emphasized the appreciation of the Movement’s leadership and members for the MUB’s efforts over the past 25 years in defending the rights of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people and preserving their national and cultural identity both in the homeland and across the diaspora.
