Syriac Union Party and Assyrian Democratic Organization discuss national unity and cooperation in Syria

BETH ZALIN, North and East Syria — A delegation from the Syriac Union Party (Gabo d’Ḥuyodo Suryoyo, SUP) visited the headquarters of the Assyrian Democratic Organization (ADO) in Beth Zalin (Qamishli), North and East Syria, to discuss recent developments and emphasize the importance of collaboration between the two parties.

The SUP delegation included Co-Chairs Shamiram Danho and Sanharib Barsom, along with Executive Committee member Afram Ishaq. They were received by ADO Head Gabriel Moshe, ADO Syria Branch official Gawrieh Shabo, and Bassam Yussef, a member of the ADO General Secretariat.

Discussions during the meeting centered on key developments in Syria, particularly concerning the current phase, and the broader situation of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) and Christian communities in the country.

Both parties highlighted the critical need for joint efforts not only between their respective organizations but also among all Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) political parties in Syria. The aim is to strengthen unity and cooperation to advance shared goals for their people and the country as a whole.
