Syriac Union Party and Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria meet to discuss national developments
BETH ZALIN, North and East Syria — A delegation from the Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Syria visited the Kurdish Democratic Unity Party in Syria (Partiya Yekîtiya Demokrata Kurd li Sûriyê, PYDKS or Yekiti).
The SUP Syria delegation included party Co-Chairs Sanharib Barsom and Shamiram Danho, along with SUP Syria Public Relations Officer Ephraim Ishaq, and SUP Syria Council Member Robel Bahho.
The delegation was received by PYDKS leader Muhiddin Sheikh Ali, political bureau member Hussein Badr, and PYDKS Executive Council Members Siham Amuka and Zahia al-Rashi.
During the meeting, the overall situation in Syria and the role of political parties and forces in the coming period were discussed. The SUP Syria delegation also congratulated PYDKS on the successful conclusion of its party congress.
Both the SUP and PYDKS have seats in the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC) of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the Region of North and East Syria (DAARNES).
