Bethnahrin Women’s Union holds two-day organizational camp in Sweden

ÖREBRO, Sweden — The Bethnahrin Women’s Union (Huyodo d’Neshe d’Bethnahrin, HNB) in Sweden, which has branches in various cities across the country, will organize an camp on community development and organization for Syriac (Chaldean-Assyrian-Aramean) women and their children in the city of Örebro. To enable mothers to participate, special activities for children will be included in the program, featuring recreational, educational, and training events. 

The camp will take place on Saturday and Sunday, August 16–17. During the camp, sessions dedicated to women will address issues of community and women’s work, as well as discussions on cultural and social affairs, the history of the Syriac (Chaldean-Assyrian-Aramean) people, and the programs and activities organized by the HNB in Sweden. 

The camp will also highlight the work and initiatives of the HBN’s other branches in Europe. In addition, the organizers will present information about the recent Surayto Women’s Conference, its objectives, and its efforts to unite Syriac women’s institutions and strengthen their role.
