Bethnahrin Women’s Union concludes organizational camp in Örebro, Sweden

ÖREBRO, Sweden — The Bethnahrin Women’s Union (Huyodo d’Neshe d’Bethnahrin, HNB) concluded a two-day camp for its members and their daughters in Örebro, Sweden, held on 16–17 August 2025.

The program focused on key themes including organizational development, community building, the history of the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) people, and the pivotal role of Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) women in both society and the broader national cause.

During the camp, the Swedish branch of HNB presented its activities and projects from the past year, highlighting initiatives designed to strengthen the presence and participation of Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) women. Participants also heard updates on the work of other HNB branches in Europe, Syria, and Iraq. The event concluded with open dialogue among members in a warm and collaborative atmosphere.

While the women attended the sessions, children took part in a parallel recreational and educational program, ensuring the camp was both family-oriented and inclusive.

The event coincided with another HNB educational camp in Switzerland, which brought together around 20 Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) women for a similar program of training and empowerment.
