U.S.-led international coalition reinforces its bases in Deir ez-Zor countryside
Deir ex-Zor – On Friday evening, several aircraft of the U.S.-led international coalition conducted airdrops of logistical and military supplies near al-Omar oil field, in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor. After that, the supplies had been distributed to the coalition military bases in al-Omar and Koniko oil fields.
Meanwhile, dozens of trucks loaded with logistical equipment, military vehicles and ammunition entered into the regions of North and East Syria coming from northern Iraq. The trucks load had been emptied in both Qasrok (ܩܨܪܐ ܘܪܟ) base which is 25 km north of al-Hasaka and Ash Shaddadi base which is 60 km south of al-Hasakah.
It is worth noting that the international coalition continues to provide support for its forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) within the process of eliminating ISIS cells in the regions of North and East Syria.
