Mor Theophilus George Saliba: May Christ’s Resurrection bless Lebanon to overcome its challenging circumstances

BEIRUT – The Bread of Life Congregation in Beirut organized, for a second week, a prayer tour with the Holy Cross on the occasion of Easter in the streets of Al-Sabtiya and Al-Bouchrieh regions in the Al-Sad area in Lebanon. Father Ayoub al-Saeed blessed the worshipers who were chanting “Christ, we worship Your Passion, show us Your glorious Resurrection.”

The tour started from the Syriac Orthodox Archdiocese of St. Jacob Church and was received by Bishop Theophilus George Saliba of Tur Lebnon for the Syriac Orthodox with a group of priests and media coverage by Tele Lumiere and Noursat TV channels.

During the tour, Bishop Theophilus George Saliba delivered a speech in which he mentioned the importance of the congregation’s work and its pioneering human role. He also wished that the glorious Resurrection bless Lebanon to overcome its economic challenges and difficulties.

The congregation’s leader, Vana Yosuf Keshishian thanked Bishop Saliba for his reception and spiritual blessing.
