Syriac Union Party in Syria extends Christmas congratulations; SUP delegation presents sweets to Sutoro members on Christmas

QABRE HEWORE, Syria – The Syriac Union Party (SUP) in Syria congratulated the Syriac people in a Facebook message: “On the occasion of Christmas, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the sons and daughters of our Syriac people (Arameans-Chaldeans-Assyrians) and all the Syrian people, asking God on this blessed day, to carry good tidings and peace to Syria, and achieve the aspirations of the Syrian people who made great sacrifices and are still suffering in order to achieve justice, democracy, freedom and peace in Syria, the land of prophets, civilizations, and the cradle of humanity.”

In related news, the Syriac Orthodox Church in Qabre Hewore (Qahtaniyeh) held Christmas mass which was attended by a SUP delegation. Afterwards, SUP Qabre Hewore branch received party representatives of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Syrian Democratic Council, Modernity Party, the Coordination Authority, the Woman’s House and the Qabre Hewore District Council who extended Christmas congratulations. All stressed the importance of coexistence among all the components of the region, wishing Goodness and security for North and East Syria.

Furthermore, members of the Syriac Internal Syriac Security Forces Sutoro and a SUP delegation of the Qabre Hewore branch visited the Academy of Martyr Sanharib and the Sutoro Security Forces Center to congratulate security personnel protecting the area. Sutoro members, in turn, renewed their pledge to the Syriac people that they will remain the watchful eye to protect the property and sanctities of our Syriac people.
