LEBANON: Universal Syriac Union Party in Zahle requests establishment of security points after pharmacy robbery
ZAHLE, Lebanon — The Universal Syriac Union Party in Zahle, Lebanon issued a statement after a theft that took place on Tuesday evening at a pharmacy in the Al-Sayida neighborhood calling for the establishment of security points at the entrances of the town.
“We demand the establishment of security points at the entrances to Zahle and we ask the Governor and the Security Sub-Council to issue orders to that effect,” read the statement.
The robbery was recorded on the pharmacy’s surveillance cameras. During the theft, the owner of the pharmacy was hit on the head with a weapon and two vehicles, two cell phones, and cash were stolen.
