U.S. airstrikes target Syrian regime forces in the south of the country

AL-TANF, Syria — On Sunday, the U.S.-led international coalition forces stationed at Al-Tanf in southern Syria conducted an airstrike against Syrian regime vehicles nearby in the Syrian desert (Badia).

Local websites reported that the U.S.-led coalition aircraft targeted several vehicles of the regime forces in the Al-Wa’er area in the Badia, causing damage to a number of them.

The local sources indicated that the vehicles were targeted after the confrontations that had erupted between Syrian regime forces and members of the U.S.-supported Revolutionary Commando Army (Jaysh Maghawir al-Thawra).
