Foreign Relations Commission of North and East Syria speaks Canadian Coordinator for Syria about political solution in Syria

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — On Tuesday, the Co-Chairship of the Foreign Relations Commission of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria spoke with the Canadian Executive Coordinator for Syria, Gregory Galligan, to discuss ways toward a political solution in Syria.

The meeting was attended by Co-Chair of Foreign Relations Commission Abdul Karim Omar and Deputy Co-Chairs Fener al-Geit.

During the meeting, which was held via video conference, the general situation in Syria and the DAA administered regions was discussed. Ways to ensure the participation of the DAA and other representative bodies in North and East Syria in the political process in Syria were also touched on.

The two sides also spoke about the importance of intensifying the efforts of the international community in all political, economic, security, and humanitarian aspects in the region.
