Turkish bombardment of Khabur continues

NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — The Turkish occupation continues to attack on the areas of North and East Syria. On Tuesday, a correspondent from our newsdesk in Tel Tamr reported that the forces of Tel Tamr Military Council (TTMC), within the framework of the legitimate defense, responded to the Turkish bombing that targeted the Syriac–Assyrian village of Tal Jum`ah. The Council, in turn, targeted the Turkish base in the occupied Al-Aziziya village from which the attack was launched.

According to our correspondent, deaths and wounded in the ranks of the Turkish occupation were reported but their number is not yet known. The Turkish bombing also resulted in a serious injury of a member of the Syrian regime, Hudhayfa Salim al-Atar.

In a statement, the Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) revealed the latest developments in the areas of Tel Tamr and Abu Rasayn, saying that the Turkish forces and their Syrian National Army (SNA) proxies used heavy weapons to bombard the villages of Khirbet Shaeer, Bab al-Khair, Nuwaihat, Rabi’at al-Abush, Tal al-Ward, and the M4 Highway in the outskirts of Abu Rasayn resulting in significant material damage to civilian property.

The Turkish occupation targeted the Syriac–Assyrian village of Tal Shamiram with several mortar rounds. The continued violent bombardment led to the collapse of a tower at the Tel Tamr power station in the village of Tal Garabet.
