On Christmas, Syriac Women’s Union and Syriac Cross distribute presents to children of Qabre Hewore, North and East Syria
QABRE HEWORE, Syria — With the advent of Christmas, the Syriac Women’s Union (SUP), in cooperation with the Syriac Cross Organization for Relief and Development, held a Christmas celebration for children, on Wednesday in the town of Qabre Hewore, North and East Syria.
The celebration included Christmas songs and dance, amid an atmosphere of joy. After that, presents were distributed to the children.
Such events aim to fill the children’s hearts of with joy, amid the harsh living conditions that plague the region.
It is not the first time that the SWU and the Syriac Cross have held Christmas events for children, several holidays events were held for children in all regions of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria.
