Supported by a German organization, Beth Nahrain for Women distributes Christmas gifts to children in Iraq
ALQOSH, Nineveh Plains, Iraq— Supported by the Germany-based organization of “WE ARE CHRISTIANS”, Beth Nahrain Women’s Organization (BNWO) has distributed gifts on Christmas and New Year to children to fill their hearts with happiness.
Gifts were distributed to the children in the following villages: Alqosh in Karnjok, Ain Baqra, Dashkotan, Barzawa, Karmawa, in addition to children of Our Lady the Virgin Church in Nohadra (Nohadra).
Gifts were also distributed to Bartella Kindergartens, including Mor Aphrem Kindergarten, Beit al-Tifl Kindergarten of the Nuns and Banafseg Governmental Kindergarten.
The BNOW held a celebration at its headquarters in Qaraqosh, and gifts were distributed to children of BNOW members, and those of women participating in BNOW courses.
The BNOW congratulated the world in general and Christian people in Iraq and the diaspora on Christmas and New Year. It also thanked the donor for its permanent support.
