Syriac Catholic Patriarch Younan meets with nuns and priests in Rome 

ROME — At the Syriac Catholic Patriarchate in Rome on Friday, Syriac Catholic Patriarch Mor Ignatius Yawsef III Younan met with a number of Dominican priests and nuns.

The meeting was held by Mor Flapianos Rami Qabalan, Syriac Catholic Archbishop of Baghdad Mor Avram Youssef Abba, and General Patriarchal Curator and Patriarchal Secretary Father Habib Murad.

During the meeting, Patriarch Younan was briefed on the most prominent activities and actions of priests and nuns, blessed them, and commended their efforts in educational attainment and spiritual service. The Patriarch provided them with guidance in upholding Church teachings.

The Patriarch also congratulated Archbishop Mor Avram Youssef Abba on the occasion of the eleventh anniversary of his inauguration as Archbishop of the Diocese of Baghdad, asking God to bless his service in the Church
