Sovereign Front for Lebanon calls for election of new president

SODECO, Lebanon — With the approach of the presidential elections in Lebanon, the Sovereign Front for Lebanon held its weekly meeting at its headquarters in Sodeco to discuss the latest developments in Lebanon. In the statement released after the meeting, the Front declared:

“Day after day, it becomes clear that the current government of Lebanese President Michel Aoun is willing to allow a constitutional vacuum to form and chaos to ensue, leading Lebanon into the unknown. Thus, the Front insists on expediting the election of a new Lebanese President who will be a reformist and work to extricate Lebanon from the dire conditions that it is experiencing.”
