Syriac Orthodox diocese of Beirut holds Christmas recital

BEIRUT ꟷ On the occasion of Christmas the Syriac Orthodox diocese of Beirut held a Christmas recital at the Church of Saint Aphrem the Syriac in the Ashrafieh neighborhood. The recital included religious songs, musical performances, and speeches inspired by the occasion.

The recital was attended by Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh, the Syriac Orthodox archbishop of the diocese of Beirut. He delivered a speech in the Syriac language at the opening of the recital.

The Saint Aphrem the Syriac Church choir performed included religious songs.

During the recital, the audience held a ceremony in honor of Father Paul Michael Koli to recite new hymns from his hand sung by a group of deacons in the diocese.
