Director of Syriac Heritage Museum Bernard Youssef visits Ministry of Minorities Affairs in Kurdistan Region of Iraq
ANKAWA, Iraq — In the framework of enhancing cooperation and joint relations, Director of Syriac Heritage Museum Bernard Youssef visited the Ministry of Minorities Affairs in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI).
Youssef was received by Minister of Components Affairs Ayden Maarouf and Director of Relations in the Ministry Iyad Wadi.
Maarouf commended efforts exerted by staff of the Syriac Heritage Museum in preserving the cultural heritage of Chaldean-Syriac-Assyrian people, and their work to introduce their ancient civilization to peoples of nations, through the various activities they hold at the Museum.
Youssef reviewed the activities of the museum during 2023 and the program of future work.
Youssef thanked Minister Maarouf for his moral support to the Museum over the past years.
The visit was concluded with honoring the Museum staff by Minister Maarouf, with certificates of appreciation.
