Syriac language teachers in Sweden call for registering Syriac children in Syriac schools
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN — The Syriac language teachers in Sweden called on the Syriac parents to register their children in Syriac language courses, before the end of the registration period on 30 April.
The Syriac language teachers touched upon the need to teach the Syriac language to children in order to preserve the national identity of Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean-Assyrian) people, amid the diverse cultures and languages in European countries and at the homeland.
The teachers stressed the importance of developing the Syriac language at school, or even at home, because it is one of the Syriac children rights.
The teachers appealed to Suroyo TV Administration and all parties to circulate their demand about children registration in Syriac language courses on time.
