Beth Nahrin Women’s Union opens a Syriac heritage food stand in Delubrück
DELBRÜCK, Germany — The Bethnahrin Women’s Union (Huyodo d’Neshe d’Bethnahrin, HNB) participated in the annual heritage food event in Delubrück, Germany.
The HNB members showcased the food of the Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean-Assyrian) heritage, as well as briefed the Syriac history, customs, language and traditions, during a dialogue seminar held with the event organizers.
The HNB members thanked the event organizers for giving them the opportunity to introduce Syriac culture at every celebration held in the city.
The profits of the Syriac food stand will be allocated to support the HNB activities and people in need in the homeland of Beth Nahrin (Mesopotamia).
