Newly-appointed French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau advocated for the 1915 Sayfo Genocide
PARIS — The newly-appointed French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau, who is a Catholic Conservative and known for his right-wing views, has officially assumed his tasks.
Retailleau is also an advocate of the recognition of the 1915 Sayfo Genocide committed by the Ottoman Empire against the Syriac (Aramean-Chaldean-Assyrian), Armenian and Pontic-Greek people.
Retailleau was a former French Senator. He is known for his hardline political positions in dealing with the immigration file.
