The Directorate plays a pivotal role in managing and preserving the properties of absentees from the Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) and Armenian communities.
This initiative aims to safeguard diaspora-owned properties from tampering, exploitation, and forgery. The Directorate has pledged to protect these properties in accordance with the prevailing regulations and laws.
To facilitate communication, the Directorate shared two WhatsApp contact numbers: 00963 934531585 and 00963 931451263 for its Secretariat.
A significant number of Syriac (Aramean–Assyrian–Chaldean) and Armenian families emigrated from North and East Syria, leaving their properties behind. The Directorate has vowed to shield these assets from theft, tampering, and vandalism, ensuring their preservation for their rightful owners.
