NORTH AND EAST SYRIA — In an interview with North Press Agency, General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Mazloum Abdi extended congratulations to Ahmad al-Sharaa on assuming the Presidency of the Syrian Transitional Government. Following the statement, Abdi invited al-Sharaa to visit North and East Syria, emphasizing the SDF’s dedication to fostering dialogue and stability in the region.

Progress Toward Constructive Negotiations

Abdi confirmed that preparations are underway for meaningful negotiations between the SDF and the transitional government, aiming for a sustainable resolution that aligns with Syria’s national interests.
