Tal Tamr and Abu Rasayn countryside suffer more Turkish bombardment

TAL TAMR – The Tal Tamr and Abu Rasayn countryside witnessed more harassing mortar fire by the Turkish occupation forces. Numerous mortars targeted the village of Timar (Umm al-Keif) northwest of Tal Tamr yesterday. No casualties were reported.

Some sources reported that nearby Russian forces located in “Mubakir station” north of Tal Tamr were put on an alert as a result of the attack.

Confrontations continue across the front. Turkish occupation forces launched another attack on the villages of Rabiat and Tal al-Ward south of Abu Rasayn with several mortars, all of which fell on the agricultural lands.

The Tal Tamr countryside has witnessed routine shelling by the Turkish occupation forces. The Syriac Military Council responds to these attacks with counter-mortar fire. Despite the presence of Russian forces in the area, the Turkish occupation forces continually violate the ceasefire agreements brokered by the U.S. and Russian forces.
