U.S.-led International Coalition delivers medical supplies to North and East Syria
KOBANÊ, Syria – The U.N. and the World Health Organization (WHO) expressed their concern about the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pandemic in Syria and the areas of the Democratic Autonomous Administration (DAA) of North and East Syria. In this regard, the U.S.-led International Coalition forces provided DAA medical facilities with large quantities of medical supplies and equipment.
“Several days ago, many U.S.-led coalition vehicles were seen heading towards the city of Kobanê, loaded with medical materials and equipment to help combat the coronavirus epidemic,” the U.S.-led international coalition announced on social media.
Various medical facilities in Northeast Syria received an abundance of supplies from the Coalition in order to help meet the needs of the region’s current medical needs to combat COVID-19.
